Offensively, the Bulldogs just aren’t a passing threat and an Ole Miss defense that’s been up and down this year shouldn’t have many problems. Mississippi State might make it interesting for a while, but this is the best offense they’ve seen since giving up 530 yards to LSU in mid-September. It’s been a long year in Starkville, but a chance to end the season on a high note with a major rivalry upset on Thanksgiving night is more than enough motivation for the Rebels to bring it strong at Davis Wade Stadium. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, are in the market for a new head coach after parting ways with Zach Arnett two weeks ago. Ole Miss is out of the SEC race but has a chance for its second 10-win season in three years.
